用途及描述：科研试剂，广泛应用于分子生物学，药理学等科研方面，严禁用于人体。 本产品为血清中优先结合铁和细胞输送分子，无血清细胞培养需要递送铁的介质，由于细胞可通过表面转铁蛋白受体，在生理适合条件下使转铁蛋白结合铁，因此本产品为最优递送铁的介质。
使用方法推荐:Prepare a concentrated stock solution (0.5–2.0 mg/mL) by dissolving transferrin powder in Phosphate-Buffered Saline (PBS) or other suitable solvent.
1. Add 100 mg transferrin to 45 mL room temperature PBS, mix thoroughly.
2. Rinse vial with an additional 2 mL PBS and combine with previous 45 mL volume, mix thoroughly.
3. Bring total volume to 50 mL with room temperature PBS, mix thoroughly.
4. Dilute to desired concentration (if less than 2 mg/mL) with PBS.
5. Filter sterilize through a 0.2-μm membrane into a sterile container prior to use. The filtered solution may be stored at 2°C to 8°C in a sterile airtight container for up to 12 months.
Transferrin has been demonstrated to be effective in the range of 0.5–100 µg/mL medium in promoting the growth of hybridomas, adherent and suspension cell cultures. We recommend performing a titration response curve to determine the optimal concentration of transferrin for each cell line and culture system.
